Print Artist + Organiser

Gaada is looking for a Risograph and Screen-printing artist + organiser to join its core team and support the delivery of one-to-one and group workshops accessed by an intersectional community of artists each week through the Toogs Artist Workshop (Burra Isle, Shetland).

Gaada’s day-to-day operation is led by a small team of artist staff with support from the wider board of Directors + Advisors. Each one of the core team focuses on leading specific areas of work, whilst also contributing to the effective running of Gaada’s overall programme through daily admin, organisational tasks, and running public-facing workshops and events.

We are looking for someone with appropriate skills and a genuine passion for collaborative working to join our core team – someone who is able to adapt and grow, alongside the organisation’s own ambitious development for visual art in Shetland.

Possessing a strong understanding of barriers faced by underrepresented communities entering the creative industries is essential as Gaada prides itself on being a community organisation that holds inclusivity at its heart.
