We are delighted to announce that Gaada is an awardee of Creative Scotland’s Go See Share fund. This award will enable Gaada to travel to Glasgow and spend time at the Project Ability studios, where we will aim to gain insight into the charities dynamic work with neurodiverse visual artists. We hope that this new learning will filter into the future development of Gaada’s artist one-to-one weekly workshops and expanded activities.

“Project Ability strongly believes in sharing our knowledge and expertise in supporting people with learning disabilities and people with lived experience of mental ill health to engage with contemporary visual art in our studio, gallery and shop in Trongate 103 and in community venues, hospitals and schools across the country.

Further to our conversation at the SCAN summit, we would be pleased to welcome Gaada to the studio during the winter term.”

— Elisabeth Gibson, Executive Artistic Director at Project Ability

“The Go See Share Creative Industries Fund is one of a number of measures being undertaken to create a stronger and more sustainable creative industries sector in Scotland. It provides vital support to individuals and companies to take advantage of exceptional opportunities, learning from others how to build their businesses, professional networks and develop their body of knowledge”.
