Join Gaada at the Shetland Library for a very special in-person artist talk + printing session with bicycle-led letterpresser Nick Hand!

Nick Hand is a Printmaker based in Bristol and Gaada is very excited to be hosting him in collaboration with the Shetland Library as part of his project 'Press On’. 

Press On is a printing adventure that has taken Nick across the UK on his custom-made letterpress printing bike, visiting public libraries along the way. The printing bike carries an Adana Press on the back and type blocks and inks on the front. At each library, Nick has been collaborating with local artists and producing a limited run of unique bookmarks, all printed right there on the printing bike. 

This brilliant project is highlighting the importance of our libraries and the communities around them and we are delighted that Nick has made it all the way up to Shetland.
